Episode 26: My Dead Motherboard

This week we get a recap of our podcasting clerics retreats, tackle how to podcast and do it for cheap, discuss the media’s goal of greed and not the Gospel, read some of your feedback, and smash it all together with some new music from Austria with love.

    Hey there,

I just want to thank you for all your advise on pod-casting. I will have to wait till school lets out before I can begin. But thanks for spending that much time on my question. Hopefully more Catholic teens out there will be inspired and start podcasting *Cough* *Cough*! Love the Pod-Cast!

Good show. I also am exploring the podcast potential and your show is one of my first subscriptions. I hope eventually to be able to use the media to a) record original musical performances b) leave theological thoughts for my children and c) publish photos of the natural beauty that surrounds me and proves the existence and love of God on a daily basis. Of course I am in Oklahoma, and am astounded that anyone from Louisiana could look down their noses. Thanks for the retraction. I do feel sorry for the majority of the population which is confined to crowded metropolitan areas where air conditioning and fabricated surroundings are required to support life. It is much harder for me to see the hand of God at work when I am in those places. I have been to Clear Creek and assisted Brother Cowmaster with his duties there. It is an intruiging community, close to nature, and offers much spiritual food (and historical insight as you mentioned). I recommend a visit for any Catholic man (especially city dwellers) who may be curious about the monastic traditions of the faith. By the way, what is capturing a feed, burning a feed, pinging, site stats, and all that stuff? Any learning resource recommendations for a techno-infant such as myself?
