Episode 39: But I’m a Priest

This week we congratulate the NEW and improved Father Chris Decker after the weekend of his ordination to the Roman Catholic Priesthood as well as his celebration of his First Mass of Thanksgiving. We discuss the rite for the holy orders as well as going through the interesting nature of the priestly change.

    Congratulations Fr. Chris! I loved this episode so much I’m listening to it again. I thought it was neat to hear what your mom and dad get from your ordination.

    49 years old, just got an iPod, searching the whole podcast thing and look what i find … catholic underground. First episode I listen to? Yup, #39. At the end you said it wasn’t “a regular episode” as far as being prepared, but, it was my first and now I’m hooked! I love your real guy, down-to-earth approach to our faith. I suspect some may find it somewhat irreverent – I find it refreshing! Call me crazy, but I’m guessing Jesus laughed and goofed especially when sharing with His brothers & sisters in the Lord.
