No offense, but has anything ever been as rediculous as ‘Earth Hour’

I know that some people I really respect were excited by this, but c’mon!

‘Earth Hour’ is clearly an effort to breathe more life into a crisis-money-maker that is running out of steam. Mainstream Media has sold everyone that there is a crisis (There isn’t by the way) and now they’ve all taken efforts to fix it…

This is, of course, a big problem for the money makers because now that people are working to fix it, they can’t sell them new, plastic green stuff… They need to resell the global environmental crisis… But with B.O. in the White House and tons of money being thrown at it from above, why should the normal person really care anymore?

They should have made sure to drop by Campaign Headquarters and tell the Pres-Elect – it’s all a hoax… Put off “fixing it” until we can make more money and you need some political capital… Sadly, they didn’t and so now we have Earth Hour to remind\convince us that the environment is still in crisis… And the best these hard-core, committed environmentalists can do is turn off the lights for 60 minutes… 1 hour out of 168 in a week, 1 week out 52 in the year… Must not be a very serious crisis.

Whew, that’s good to know. I feel better already!
